Competition terms and conditions

1. Organiser
The RISING60 Logo Design Competition is organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Jakarta (the “Organiser”) as part of the commemoration of 60 years of Singapore–Indonesia diplomatic relations.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to citizens and permanent residents of Singapore and Indonesia aged 17 or above as at 31 October 2026. Entrants may be individuals or teams of up to three, and teams must nominate one representative. Employees of the Organiser, members of the judging panel and their immediate families may not enter.
3. Entries
Each entrant may submit up to two entries. Work must be original, previously unpublished, and free of third-party assets, restrictively licensed typefaces, state emblems or trademarks used without permission. Primary files are accepted as PNG, JPG, SVG or PDF up to 20 MB.
4. Judging
Entries are assessed by a joint panel of designers, curators and officials from both countries. Weighting: concept and relevance 30%, design craft and originality 30%, versatility 20%, cultural resonance 20%. The panel's decision is final.
5. Intellectual property
Entrants retain copyright in unsuccessful entries. On acceptance of the first prize, the winner assigns all intellectual property rights in the winning mark to the Organiser on a full, royalty-free, worldwide and perpetual basis, including rights to modify, adapt and license the mark. The winner may continue to show the work in a non-commercial personal portfolio.
6. Publication
The Organiser may display all approved entries in the online gallery, in exhibitions and in commemorative publications, crediting the entrant's first name.
7. Personal data
Personal data collected is used solely to administer the competition and is processed in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and Indonesia's Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (UU PDP). Data is retained for no more than 24 months after the winner is announced. Entrants may request access, correction or deletion at rising60@mfa.sg.
8. Disqualification
The Organiser may disqualify any entry that breaches these terms, contains material offensive on grounds of race or religion, or is found to be plagiarised, including after the winner is announced.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia for entrants resident in Indonesia and by the laws of the Republic of Singapore for entrants resident in Singapore.
